Polypropylene Fiber Reinforced Concrete

Polyproypylene Fiber reinforced plastic concrete structure refers to a structure where two materials, fiber reinforced plastic and concrete, are combined to form a whole and bear common forces.  In addition to studying various rust prevention measures for steel bars, people are also striving to find new artificial fiber materials that can replace steel bars, Polypropylene Fiber is one fiber for Reinforced Concrete.

Product Details

Polypropylene Concrete fiber is a high-performance fiber specifically designed for reinforced concrete or mortar, which can effectively control microcracks caused by factors such as plastic shrinkage, dry shrinkage, and temperature changes in concrete/mortar, prevent and suppress the formation and development of primary cracks in concrete, greatly improve the crack resistance, permeability resistance, impact wear resistance of concrete/mortar, increase the toughness of concrete, and thus increase the service life of concrete.

The use of polypropylene fibers generally does not require changing the original design mix ratio or replacing the original designed load-bearing steel bars. The dosage per cubic meter of concrete is 0.6kg-1.2kg, and the recommended dosage is 0.9kg per cubic meter of concrete. After adding dry materials (sand, cement, etc.), the fibers are put in before adding water. The mixing time is slightly extended by 30-60 seconds compared to the mixing time of concrete without adding fibers.
